From Philadelphia, I travelled
to Princeton, NJ one evening for a talk at a Unitarian
Universalist church. We had an excellent
turn out, and I enjoyed speaking with members of the congregation and the
minister. Many attending the talk are actively engaged in efforts to alleviate
suffering in the world, and some are vegans.
It was beautiful to see so many open minded people interested in
compassion, and seeking to live in a way that is humane and consistent with
their ethical values.
